Facilities

EMU's central library houses a wide collection of books and periodicals related to urban design and landscape architecture, in addtion to other related disciplines such as architecture and planning. The Faculty also maintains a special reading room, offering a wide range of valuable periodicals and books to students. Modern studios provide a perfect milieu for exchange of ideas and individual areas for students to work on their projects. There are two well-equipped CAD labs, one materials lab, one on environmental control systems, one on model making, and one photography lab at the students’ service. Additionally, Urban Research and Design Center (URDC) of the University and Design and Research Center (TASAR) and Center for Housing Education and Research (HERA-C) for the Faculty of Architecture are among the educational and research facilities which the students of the Departments can make use of.

Photography, model making, computer, ceramic, construction and material laboratories and workshops, wireless internet facilities, as well as the well-equipped studios enable the students to make the most out of their education. There is a constant increase in the number of students choosing to study interior design, but this does not prevent us from giving individual attention to each of our students thus there is a warm and positive atmosphere for the student - academic staff relationship.
