Chair of EMU Architecture Department Prof. Dr. Dinçyürek Joins Final Jury of Lebanese University USEK

Upon an invitation from the USEK University, Prof. Dr. Özgür Dinçyürek, Chair of the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Architecture Department, traveled to Lebanon where he stayed for a week and attended numerous academic events. During his stay, ideas were exchanged about possible future collaborations and an academic cooperation agreement was signed between EMU and USEK.

Prof. Dr. Dinçyürek attended the final jury of the USEK University Architecture Department diploma project where he acted as a guest jury member alongside other guest jury members from France and Italy.

EMU’s Architecture Department holds the American NAAB SE accreditation. Prof. Dr. Dinçyürek provided information about the application process to USEK University staff members who are preparing to apply for the same accreditation.

Prof. Dr. Dinçyürek left Lebanon with further plans regarding collaboration between the two universities.
