EMU Faulty of Architecture, Urban Design Program gets approval from HEC

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture’s fourth program entitled “Masters of Urban Design With Project Program” has been approved by the Higher Education Council of Turkey.

New students will be accepted for the 2014-2015 Academic Year, Fall Semester. Students who wish to apply for the program must have a bachelors degree in either architecture, construction science, landscape architecture, urban planning or urban design. The program duration is 12 months. The Urban Design program is a part of the Department of Architecture program and contains many core subjects from the architecture department as well as elective courses related to urban design. Program will strive to elaborate on the historical design issues and offer solutions to such issues.

The new masters program at EMU currently has 2 professors, 3 Assoc. Profs. As well as 1 Assist. Prof.
