APOP | Architectural Talks with Andreas & Zoe Lordos

EMU Department of Architecture hosts Andreas Lordos and Zoe Antoniadou as part of its a.pop events.

The Department of Architecture in Eastern Mediterranean University's (EMU) Faculty of Architecture recently held a seminar titled "Architectural Talks" with leading professionals in the industry: Andreas Lordos and Zoe Antoniadou. The event took place at St. Peter and St. Paul Church (Buğday Camii) in Famagusta's Walled City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday 5 December 2019. The seminar was attended by a large number of architecture students and academic personnel.

The architectural partnership between University of California-Berkley graduates Andreas Lordos and Zoe Antoniadou began in 1992. The partnership, which has achieved commercial and personal success in its Cyprus-based studios, has received many awards and appreciation for its forward-thinking efforts.

In the seminar, Andreas Lordos and Zoe Antoniadou provided information about the great variety of their work and projects. They also discussed the process of becoming an architect and the responsibilities of an architect with the participants. The seminar presented numerous images of the projects of the studio and the attendees followed it with great interest.

As the seminar concluded, EMU Department of Architecture Chair, Prof. Dr. Resmiye Alpar Atun presented Andreas Lordos and Zoe Antoniadou presentation folder and certificate of appreciation.
