COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT

for The Temporary/New Logo of “EMU Department of Architecture"

to be used in 2022-23 Academic year

Much like fashion, logo design follows trends: color, fonts and use of icons all come into play when considering a logo refresh. This may mean a few small tweaks to our existing logo or a complete overhaul, depending on how meaningful the old your logo is for you and how much you think it can evolve from different perspective.

The elements of your proposals for refreshed/changed/personalized logo need to reflect your own understanding of the Department of architecture; therefore, please start by taking a close look at the existing one's meaning, use and creative profile.

Properly done, the logo redesigns can actually increase department's  awareness by spicing things up for us as a current users and appealing to a possible new audience's perceptions. So what will make this revised logo right ?

For sure it will have to symbolize your  own  personality and helps us to connect with our target audience in line with the existing one.
