ARCH492 Graduation Project | Final Jury | Socially and Ecologically Responsive Habitat for Forcibly Displaced People in Varosha, North Cyprus

ARCH492 Graduation project offers its participating students the challenge of designing ‘A SOCIALLY AND ECOLOGICALLY RESPONSIVE HABITAT FOR “FORCIBLY DISPLACED” PEOPLE’ in VAROSHA, NORTH CYPRUS, which targets for a better quality environment for its limited amount of settlers (200) who would most likely be immigrating from neighboring war zone countries.  This Habitat-Center will act as a transitional settlement for those in vulnerable situations who registered themselves with UNHCR and waiting for an interview to be recognized as a refugee.
