He graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory Theater Department in 1995. He worked as a professional actor in Dormen Theater between 1994-2001.

He directed the plays Karmakarşık, Popcorn, Kare As and Oyun, which was performed by the Theater Candela, consisting of the actors of İstanbul Bilgi University. Erdal Kömürcü, who has psychological problems, played in the TV series Kurtlar Vadisi in 2003 and won the appreciation of large public masses.
