EMU Starting Distance Education

Dear EMU Family,

Please be advised that at a meeting held today, the Eastern Mediterranean University Senate took a decision on the continuation of the delivery of education, which had to be interrupted due to the worldwide pandemic caused by the COVID -19 virus, in the form of distance education. 

The Senate’s calendar regarding distance education is as follows:

·       The week of 23 March - 28 March 2020 will be the orientation week during which distance education courses will be created, the students will be enrolled in classes, and pilot classes will be held with students enrolled in the course.

·       Starting from 30 March 2020, the classes will continue in the form of distance education from the place where the education was interrupted.

The Eastern Mediterranean University has adequate infrastructural facilities and faculty to carry out this process successfully.
