Depratment of architecture invites you to a.act Re-habitating Exhibition which will take place in the Atrim of the Colored building between 13th - 23rd of June

The exhibition displays select term projects of ARCH 355 (Process of Urban Design) students from fall semester 2021-2022.
The term project focused on select interstitial urban spaces in Famagusta and how they connected to the high street: Salamis Road between EMU campus and Polatpaşa Mosque. The interstitial spaces are small, un-designed connector alleys where pedestrian movement and places for lingering could be enhanced.
The primary goals of the Re-habitating Gaps and Lost Spaces Project were:
· To re-imagine these alleyways as places for people,
· To breathe life into lost interstitial spaces,
· To create places to gather and linger that could become popular destinations,
and
· To demonstrate their value, their potential, and their significance to our built
urban fabric.
